OUR HISTORY

Summit Transportation was founded in 1997 in Dallas, Texas. We were founded under the premise that customer service, reliability and on time performance be our main objective. While servicing the 48 contiguous United States, Mexico and Canada, Summit Transportation thrives on our experience and expertise in the ever changing transportation industry. Our business model includes 3PL management, over the road dry van trucking, temperature control, flatbed (including over-dimensional loads), logistics trailers (pad, wrap and strap), local pick up and delivery and warehousing. While technology is always changing, Summit Transportation works hard to provide innovative solutions for tracking purposes. Our cutting edge, online technology includes capabilities that allow our shippers to track and print out POD’s and bill of ladings from their desktop. Through our partnerships we are continuously developing working relationships that facilitate our shippers’ needs from origin to destination.
